Paul

Here is my Paul on the first day of school. He has some stylin' sunglasses on that he bought in Korea. Paul went to World Youth Day in Australia in July. Mr. Stud came home with over 200 email addresses from girls all over the world. Isn't the internet wonderful? I hope some of the friendships last a lifetime.

Granny

My favorite elementary school teacher Mrs. Ventolier taught my 5th grade class how to make these shrunken apple head dolls. I always loved the idea and made this 2 weeks ago. I entered Granny and baby in an art contest at work but they received odd stares and goofy wide eyed expressions. I love them anyway!

Star Light...Star Bright...

I wish I may, I wish I might...have my wish come true tonight!

Well, I went to the store to see a demo of the Baby Lock Evolve Wave yesterday. Then guess what happened? I looked in my purse and my wallet had gone missing. I searched for 8 hours straight yesterday, digging through the house, cupboards even the refrigerator (one never knows) even the stinky rubbish. I slept about 1 hour last night then woke up to my puppy's mess in the kitchen. I've also been having a pinching chest pain that is frightening me.

So here's the funny part...the salesgirl phoned me and I told her I'd lost my wallet and had been searching for 5 hours (at that point) and she asks me if I was thinking about the machine! well the machine was the furthest thing from my mind! I informed her that life stops until I find my wallet. Sales sales sales! I do have my heart set on this jet air threading serger/coverlock baby. The price is scary! $2599.99

Guess that's a no for now since I have no wallet. I wonder if a little house gnome is hiding it knowing that it is not the time for a large purchase.

Back to School

The first day of school... I always get a wee bit emotional. Last year I couldn't wait for my freedom, this year I think I might be lonely. I will probably complete more sewing projects. (fingers crossed) Big brother is walking with her and our other baby... puppy Josie.

Beautification Committee

My strapping young lad Paul has been helping me keep the yard nice all summer. The Beautification Committee (I think that's a funny name) awarded us with August's yard of the month.

Studio Friends

Here is the gang at the studio on our last night of recording. I now have a cd full of voice overs that I need to listen to and decide what I want to use for my demo. I do not like to listen to my own voice! All in all it was great fun and I miss the recording sessions and my new friends.

Sewing White Trash Style

Honestly I have not had much time to sew...except my outfit for the white trash party one of my co-workers had last night. (I made the sleeves and appliques from Budweiser Boxer shorts) Yee Haw! My shoes are not white trash but aren't they darling? The tattoo is fake.
